Data literacy is the ability to read, write and communicate data in context, including an understanding of data sources and constructs, analytical methods and techniques applied. It is considered one of the most important skills of the 21st century. The workshop will provide an overview about the elements of data literacy and share best practices on what organizations but also individuals can do to become data literate. Further, we will show you the stages of the DAIN Studios Data & AI Maturity Framework.

Data Thinking combines Design Thinking with Data Science & Engineering. It utalizes the user-centric principles of design thinking to translate and break down the complicated and complex data topics. The tools help to identify and describe new data use cases, formulate valid development hypotheses and help as a set of frameworks for executing the development of data-driven products & services.

Data Strategy

One of the central pieces needed for transforming towards a data-driven organization is a well-articulated data strategy. However, not many organizations have such a cocise strategy for data and AI in place. The workshop discusses the central elements of a data strategy. During the workshop, we discuss some of the common pitfalls in the implementation of data and AI strategies and give recommendations for business leaders on how to successfully include data and AI in their business processes.
